There are two main ways to set up your Orbi wifi system. Either you can use a web-browser method or Netgear Orbi app to set up your router and the satellite units.

Set up the Orbi RBK23 with the Netgear Orbi App

Install the Netgear Orbi app on your smartphone.

First of all, connect an Ethernet cable from your modem’s LAN port to your router’s WAN port.
Plug in the modem as well as your Orbi router to a power outlet and switch on the power.
Press the sync button on the Orbi router and then on your satellite.
Once done, check the status of the ring LED on the router, it should be white light.
Now, connect the Orbi satellite to the power source and turn it on.
Wait for the power LED of your Orbi satellite to light solid white.
The satellite’s power LED will turn into pulse white and then turn into pulse magenta.

When the LED will become solid blue, that means the connection between the Orbi router and satellite is established.
Now, connect the computer system to your Orbi router with an Ethernet cable.
Launch a browser on the connected PC and visit the orbilogin.com page.
On the Netgear Orbi RBK23 login page, enter the default credentials of your router.
Once logged in, you can configure or customize the various settings of your Orbi device.
