  1. First, you need to connect the Orbi router to the modem via an Ethernet cable to start the installation of the Orbi satellite.
  2. Now, place your Orbi RBS50Y satellite in a central location of your home so that it can receive proper wifi signals from the Orbi router.
  3. Connect the Orbi satellite to the power source. Make sure to place your Orbi satellite in the same room as your Orbi router during the installation.
  4. Wait for it to turn UP. If you don’t see any power light, press the power button and turn on the device.
  5. Press the sync button first on the Orbi satellite and then on the Orbi router and wait for the ring light to change.
